Mt Ararat in Turkey.

The Noah's Ark link provides some useful and interesting photographs.

I've done quite a bit of digging around already on the internet.There's
a few accounts around of walkers experiences but not too much on the
organisation behind their trips. I do know that a permit is needed to
climb Mt. Ararat and it takes at least 2 months for that permit to be
processed. I don't know how long that permit remains valid. I'll get
onto the Turkish embassy.Van is the nearest large airport.
