for your consideration:

very active, good mix of posters from UK/Europe/US, self moderating (no mods)

I'll add this suggestion to the thread in the Cafe.

I noticed Bianchigirl posts there! It cannot be half bad.

Yeah, some crazy person took that thread off topic bro. You should bring it up there to bring the thread back around . . . 😎

  3. Micron suggested this site in the similar thread in the GT forum:

    justcycling.myfastforum.orgindex.php

Self moderation and a mix of UK/Europe/US members, which is one of the things I liked about the GT forum here before it went downhill. I always found the jingoistic cluelessness on other U.S. sites annoying. This site already has an active community.

What about Bro's "Other Forum Follies" thread? We've curve-balled that one onto "Methods for Exterminating an Unwanted Spouse"...

It has a 'doping news' thread that is 110 pages long. 😄 Doping being discussed with the racing is nice; most sites disallow that. The mixture of nationalities is nice too; that is one thing I liked about this site.

    This looks really promising.

Methods for Exterminating an Unwanted Spouse that happens to foolishly post on other forums

They have a "Movies" thread too that has 211 posts. It's Bro Deal nirvana I tell you. All they need is hierarchical titles that change as your post tally goes up and we all may have to move there if we ever want to talk to Bro again...

Can someone email House and tell him to sign up?

    House is at slowtwitch.

Hmm... interesting... needs further surveillance... Image in Moving On We probably need to send the Bro in for reconnaissance. But it does have the critical mass already in place. Is there anything missing or any downside there that you have experienced?

I like the Dr. Fuentes Consulting Room section. Sounds like they are realists.

  10. Do they have any Salukis. We need some dumb people.

  11. My vote is just cycling. Brian seems like a nice bloke. But there is no traffic.

  12. I just read two pages of a thread which was Mrs John Murphy vs. Sooty psyche couch bicker session. Some sad cases in there. I feel much more normal now...

I noticed that the "f" word is present in another thread without any moderation or attempt to disguise it. So it looks like the terms dickcheese and [censored] won't cause any problems. So it seems TFF will be allowed to express his talents and Frigo won't have to say rooster...

  13. Lets try things out before we make a decision.

  14. My sig is too long for justcycling. 🙁🙁

  15. Malkmus has already started FID II without the explanatory OP. I think the other members are looking at it like a young child stares at a weird insect on the sidewalk.

What if you just call him "Mully" for short...

no no no, I must have written a poorly organized sentence...I do not know RTT, I hust made a comment about one of the women in my past (my ex) not fitting into her poem postulating the superiority of women in relationships.

Maybe it should have been called 'Americans and Aussies Are Coming,' also known as the AAACK! thread. (Sorry, cannot think of a K word but the short form needs one.) It seems pretty British over there.

  19. It looks like we have collectively decided on justcycling. It's mighty British over there. We'll need more Americans and Aussies to show them the error of their ways. 😉

  20. There are only 247 registered users at justcycling. Probably the last seven are CFers. We can overwhelm them--or at least make up a significant faction.
