  1. Any opinions? Anyone got any going cheep? I quite fancy these for the
new bike - w. barcons in the ends...

Best price I've seen in the UK is at hubjub

There is also the On-One Mungo bar:

    Thanks again,

I've had a pair on my mountain bike (which is also my winter commute bike)
for a few years, I really like them. Good choice of hand positions, and
easier on the wrists than regular MTB bars. Barcons in the ends is an
    excellent way to go.

Rivendell currently sells them for US$52 (GBP 27.50?) Throw in VAT and allow
for the higher cost of doing business in the UK and GBP 37.50 sounds like a
    very good price.

    Enjoy them,

  4. Promise no parking in racks then. The mungos look good but not sure
they take bar ends - and they are black which is not be aesthically
pleasing to me. Tempted by the Rivendell (yum) / hubjubs really..but
    wanted something cheaper...

  5. If you are switching from a drop bar to the moustache bar, you'll need
a shorter stem (about 3cm shorter). I made the mistake of buying my
moustache bars and using my existing stem and ended up switching back
to the drop bars as I was too stretched out. Now, with a new shorter
stem, the moustache bars are very comfortable. I've bought a lot of
gear from Hubjub and can highly recommend them.

  6. Thanks Joss, I am already using a short high stem with my drops so
already which is one reason I thought I might like the moustache bars.
Hubjub do look nice, but I just seem to have sourced some secondhand
    ones 🙂

    Thanks Again,
    Emma
