  1. Hi folks,

I have been developing a new section of my cycle campaigning site that may well end up being a site
in its own right. My aim is to keep a track of as many fatal road crashes as is possible so we don't
lose sight of the scale of 'Motorcarnage' in the UK and else where. It also acts as a sobering dose
of reality after listening to motorists trying to divert attention away from the effects of bad
driving by whinging on about the supposed danger posed by 'pavement cyclists' and so on. It also
contains detailed analyses of how the courts and others respond to this carnage.

    See motorcarnage.org.ukmotorcarnage.html

For details of the most recent fatalities go to

    Regards,

    Howard.

  2. A moving site.

Amazing, I was just chatting to some people a couple of nights ago, as the statistic 'more motorists
are in prison than burglars' was being aired. I think most people think its a few speeders banged
up, but this points out, horrifically, the truth of it.

Very hard to read it and not feel anger and sorrow.

The transport health lobby apparently recognise that they have been slow off the mark regarding
motor danger. This was just posted to a mailing list to which I subscribe:

Heh heh! It's a background image, of course, but you are right. Clearly the site is designed for
cagers and this page has been styled to match their perceptions of cyclist colouration...
