  1. I think that cross-country skiing could replace bike racing as the
    most drugged sport.

    what about hacky sack ?

  3. Perhaps for injectibles but golf, darts, bowling and dwarf tossing
still exceed for overall intoxication quotient.

  4. Hiya Bilb:
You forgot fishing. When I checked the WADA's pdf of banned
substance listings, I saw MOST of those federations that had an upper
level for booze in the blood put it at .10 -- but the fishing people
pegged theirs at .30! Must have thrilled the world's water sports
safety authorities no end to see that. At above .30, they're probably
likely to bait the hooks with a longneck and pop the top off a baitfish
    to drink....

There's no doubt that the hacky sack guys are on drugs, but they're
    not performance enhancing drugs.

I remember a few years back, I was doing a river float in the Ozarks
and was following this canoe with one guy in it. The river had to be
about a 1/4 mile wide and there was a single tree branch sticking out
on the right side of the river. Sure enough, the guy hits the tree
branch and gets knocked out of his canoe. Luckily, the water wasn't
too deep or else he would have drowned. I gave him a hand getting his
canoe and gear organized. When I left him he was diving in the river
trying to find his bottle of vodka.

The best thing to be said about 0.003 (0.3%)
blood alcohol concentration is that by itself
    it is sub-lethal.

For those of you keeping score at home we have
