I have been playing around with the idea of buying a Serrota Ottrott or Legend (or other), Look 481Sl, or other road frame.
I am 6'1'' 220lbs. 39 years old, ride recreationally only, with an occasional century or local race. I currently own a 2003 LeMond Buenos Aires. I chose this frame because of my longer than average torso and the LeM ond geometry has a longer than average top tube. I am looking for a frame that is light, strong, durable, is more/as comfortable, though is more rigid on downhill corners and climbs. And possibly on longer rides if there are more comfortable frames. Please advise.

If you want to spend the money, go with a Seven (www.sevencycles.com). They custom build the frame the specs that you want.

I would add to this, working in a shop that is a Seven dealer that this would be the best way to go. Not only can you get custom geometry but also tailor the frame to the way you want it to ride...ie how stiff or soft. They are more thorough in this regard than any other builder I know. It is an extensive process but the end result is a bike that is as close to your ideals as you can get. They want to know ALL of your measurements and riding style...big gear masher or spinner. How comfortable is your current bike? What you like and dislike about it? And all of this at no extra charge...the price of the frame is the price of the frame...whether it is at their "standard" spec or tailored to your needs. Pick up one of their catalogs if you can...it is a wealth of information! -
