These look like they were made by the same folks who brought out an ill
fated molded plastic frame in the mid 1970s.

The "plastic casters" didn't have a clue about cycling or bicycles - just
like these wood butchers.

My guess is that these were the result of some kind of class project just
like the molded plastic frame.
