I'm new to this forum so apologies if what I'm about to ask has been covered elsewhere.
I recently replaced my very cheap sunglasses with a pair of Oakley Team Radar Paths because I was having problems with the sunglasses misting up whenever I slowed down or stopped whilst riding for any length of time. I was told that the Oakleys having hydrophobic lenses shouldn't suffer from the same problem but unfortunately they are. Has anyone else had the same problem and/or has any suggestions on how I might be able to solve this? Any suggestions would be most gratefully received.
You can either buy an anti-fog agent and apply it now and again, or you can use something simple like toothpaste (gel works best). Just polish the lenses with a dab of toothpaste, and you'll be good to go. Even cheaper than toothpaste is saliva.
i ride with the lenses soft-cloth fabric in my rear pocket, oakley's (at least the fast jacket) are not perfect but reasonably good, i use a head band too, if that helps ??
I use Cat [censored] Anti Fog and Lense Cleaner for everything (snorkeling goggles, ski goggles, cycling glasses, etc) and I love it. I found it once when skiing and bought it just because of the funny name and have been hooked since. It's also pretty cheap...
