I would suggest a regular one. I don't like the idea of running out of CO2 right when I
need it most.

crank brothers makes a very good, compact size pump that will pump up to 100
+ easily and will fit entirely in a jersey pocket.

How many punctures do you usually get at once?

Ok. I have decided I want a regular one because I don't want to run out of CO2, nor do I want to
carry extra cartridges when I get 2 or more flats. I don't want to spend any more than $15 on one.

I gave up my mini-pump and CO2 cartridges when I weighed the mini pump, the three CO2 cartridges
which I considered mandatory in case of a flat, and then weighed a Topeak Morph mini pump.

Surprisingly, the weight of the Topeak pump, which has a gauge and foot pedal allowing easy pumping
of up to 120 PSI is the same as three CO2 cartridges and a mini pump with a CO2 cartridge adapter.

Just my two cents.

I bought a Blackburn pump, Tuesday night, for $14.95 and it seems to work pretty good. It works with
both valve types so I can use it with both of my bicycles.

A "Big Air" CO2 cartridge is lightweight and will do the job of three standard cartridges. It is
expensive at $3/each, though, and a pump that you're happy with is, of course, a Good Thing.
