Just got some Miller Beer as googling seems to suggest that it was low carb
is this true? I have this nutritional information for Miller Beer
per 100ml:
Carbohydrates - 0.86g
Calories - 27Kcal
Units - 0.4 units
Is that good or bad?
TIA

I don't know about UK but most low carb beer in Canada seems to be 2.5 g of
carbs per bottle so this sounds right.

It's good - but it doesn't taste like beer IMO : ) Try Michelob Ultra Light
if you're a lager drinker, or Marston's Resolution if you prefer bitter. My
local Tescos do both.

My local sainsbury is doing a low carb cider with .5g/250ml if i remember
correctly, which is way better than michelob ultra which is about 5 times
that. Like ultra, it has a bit of an artificial taste, but it does the job.

Should you really be drinking any beer if you are on LC diet to lose
weight? Alcohol isn't a carb, but the body treats it much like one.

Probably not, but if you're going to drink beer anyway, you might as well
find a reasonably LC one that you like.

The only decent tasting low-carb beer I've found is Rhinebecker Extra
Couldn't find an official website, but this article talks a bit about it

I've found Miller Lite to be a decent compromise, but the problem is
that I drink a ton more Miller Lites than I would of a regular
microbrew. Maybe it's like eating more fat. A regular beer will satisfy
you quicker than one that is mostly water.
