Doesn't it hurt your bike to ride in rain? I guess all you'd need to do is ensure the chain and gears and all were dry and lubricated to prevent rust.

I ride between 250 and 300 miles each week. Usually there's one long ride of 50 to 80 miles and a bunch of 20 mile rides sprinkled throughout the week. I've only been riding for about 4 months; right now it's only for fun.:eek:

I've just started riding early in July, for the health of it. I ride 12 miles a day Tues-Sat and 30-40 on Sunday I average around 17 mph (I live in Middle Tennessee so it's a little hilly but not real bad. I plan on doing a MS150 ride in October so I guess I should step up my milage and my speed too.
