Midges in Snowdonia?

I just got back from 4 days at Capel Curig and although
there were some midges I didn't think it was too bad. Just
used some insect repellant wipes, job done.

Get a small bottle of lavender oil from Boots and dab it
around your neck, wrists and feet. You may smell like a bit
of a fruit but it does a wonderfull job.........

BT, if you're the least bit harassed by midges on your trips
out why do you put up with it? Use an insect repellant;
Jungle Formula works, no ifs, ands, buts or maybes it works.

I'd bet anyone that Northumberland midges would give the
fabled Scottish midge a run for its money... Jungle Formula
fettles them all
!!!

Some folk will bleat about this, that and the other about
chemicals, rotting, imminent death, etc.... its bollox(tm) ,
especially considering how often you might use it.

Camping; use a Moon Tiger, end of story

Use a repellant, get on with enjoying yourself outdoors...
the midges are never going to go away so work with them
(stay indoors during summer months) or work around them...

Hi Just back from Rhinog area... no midges to report...
weather was warm and humid though so dont be surprised to

insects because I use no after- shave or other body lotions
other than Lynx, which is irresistible only to women.

However, I did have a dream last night in which I had to
kill two mosquitos.
