Was that photo taken before you moved in? I'm wondering...where's your
*stuff*? If your counters are normally that bare, then you probably
don't have much that you need to put in that cabinet!
But I'm hurtin' for space,...I could put so much in there...Cookbooks
would fill it up. Or, two matching big rectangular baskets (tall ones)
filled with smallish odds and ends that don't fit well anywhere else
(for me, that could be pot lids, table linens, the kids lunchboxes and
water bottles, utensils that we don't use often and clutter the utensil
drawer). I am also short on pantry space, so could fill a couple of big
baskets with pantry staples or those bulky items that don't fit
anywhere...bread, big bags of chips or pretzels.
I could put my pitchers and teapots there, ...I don't think the
coffeemaker would fit, but the crockpot probably would (no room for
these in the kitchen, they live in the basement). If nothing else, I
might splurge on a big beautiul piece of that Polish pottery and display
it with a few photos. Or I'd put my cannisters there.
If you took it down, would it leave a strange-looking gap? Because you
could always hang it elsewhere in the house (or basement or garage).
