They work great for me and I have no punture or wear issues issues. Good low rolling resistance and good grip.
There may be better tires but if you are getting a deal these work just fine.

To go even cheaper check Michelin Dynamics. If your just looking to rack up miles these are some great sneakers at $12 each at my LBS. I run 700X23 and currently have almost 2k with no cracks or flats(knock on wood).

See, the thing I have an issue with is that for training not only do I want to train on them, but I want to practice turning and other handling. Therefore, I want good tires in terms of traction too. That's why I usually buy higher end tires for training. I'm not really experienced in terms of bike handling and I'm always trying to get better at it by taking harder turns, etc.

So, i guess i just wanted to get some feedback on general usage of these tyres and how they hold up on wet roads. I don't think I'll ever ride when it is really pouring, but when they are wet like after a shower or maybe light drizzle.

I love the Michelin Pro 2's I rode the Axial Pro for years and now the Pro 2's. They handle great in the wet once you get used to riding a slick when the pavement is shiny 🙂 Seriously I love the way these ride rain or shine. I raced on tubulars for years but race on these now and train on them as well, they have a very good cornering feel for a clincher. I agree with the previous poster who advises training and racing on the same tires to improve handling. You've got to know how far you can push a tire on a steep descent or an off camber crit corner.

I love Pro Races, but just watch out when they're brand new; they seem to need the shiny stuff (injector mold release compound? ) worn off before they're at their best

Dynamics are hard to fault for the price but they're just a tad on the heavy side. For $20 I suggest Michelin Lithion (folding) which are more superior or for about $15 one could get Continental Duraskins (non-folding)... very durable.
