Hey, if your troll filter will really work, I'll be back. Monday I'll look
into it. I miss it here. Headed over to my Mom's for Christmas dinner
tonight. Anyway, nice to hear from you.

  6. Although I'm not religious, I do have a decorated tree, presents, and
even the house is illuminated. Merry Christmas!

P.S. I really like abundance of Tchaikovsky during American holidays.

An abundance of Tchaikovsky or just the Nutcracker Suite?

Happy Christmas Larry; it's nice to hear from you.

Nothing changes much around here and John Williams has got another
hair-brained scheme to rid the Group of his enemas! ;o)

Yeah, going well, Mate - we're all excited about this new anti-troll filter
where we can finally get rid of all the known trolls that disrupt this
place. It's just when I check the list in JMW's FAQ, there are 4 on it -
there is the known troll Bill, and 1 guy who is a friend of mine, 1 guy who
is a political leftie although I don't recognize him as a troll - and then
there is another guy who I never heard of. (I could be wrong but have a
distinct feeling that the only thing these 4 people have in common is that
JMW doesn't like 'em) - be good to have you back!

Larry, can certainly choose whom he killfiles.

Since you're king of MFW polls, why don't you start another poll,
specifically identifying your friend and asking the group, as a whole,
whether his posts, overall, are a benenfit or detriment?

I'll be interested to see your response. Have you the courage to put
that up for group consensus, without waffling or qualification?

Oops, I misread the above as "king of MFW trolls".

    You were talking about POLLS.

Which brings up the obvious question, just who is the king of MFW trolls?

And, for the record, I don't qualify because I don't post enough to qualify.

The results are predictable. Hudson goes on a long rant about you and

Sure, be happy to do that. Would have to consult with my team so to agree on
the ground rules. Of course this may just turn into a popularity contest
between you two - and my friend may be at a disadvantage due to geographical
and cultural considerations. The usual suspects I'm sire will chime in with
    the predictable chorus.

where we can finally get rid of all the known trolls that disrupt this
place. It's just when I check the list in JMW's FAQ, there are 4 on it -
there is the known troll Bill, and 1 guy who is a friend of mine, 1 guy
    who
is a political leftie although I don't recognize him as a troll - and then
there is another guy who I never heard of.

Now, JMW - we held an extraordinary meeting with our team. Our conclusions
    are
    1) this whole troll thing is getting boring
    2) the FAQ is an attempt to manipulate the group into certain attitudes
about the moninated 'trolls' and enablers
    3) there are no real trolls here except TBR and even his posts are
    diminishing
    4) a new poll would have no particular purpose as there doesn't seem to
    be a real problem
    5) if posting 'off topic' was an issue it would apply to 90% of the
posts and it would be impossible to hold so called trolls responsible for
    this

Please let me know if you have any particular issues not covered by the
    above.
