This sounds very interesting....does this mean that I can use the latest MM
software, but continue to use my 2002 and 2003 maps? If so can you please

It does indeed. The OS mandate that you can't use the maps you've paid for just because you download
a software update is neutralised, along with a few others. The patch is very easy to apply, simple
instructions are given in the included README file. Email me for a user/pass as per the top post.

Incidentally, while I'm here, there is an irritating problem with MM4.2.4, which happens on my
system and has also been reported by others:- the installer package *always* installs MM in the
default directory on C:, regardless of the directory you specify. This behaviour might depend on
whether you uninstall 4.2.3 first and clean-install 4.2.4, or update the existing installation
in-situ.
