represent something to some people that is unefffected by taking drugs or

Yah that is kinda what I was shocked by. What the hell does HE think
he is doing? What does he expect to happen? Is he so comfortable in
his position with the fans that he feels he can show up for a farewell
race and get some love or something?

Then i read his interview (expanded) in the print VN this month. I
still find it lame that they did that interview the way they did.
Those were supposed to be the hard questions, verses part 1. It was
still pretty effing chummy coming from people who's lively hood
depends on the health of the sport, and he cant be helping it.

As far as I know, he has never tested positive. Dont want to sound
like "all the others" but he is one of those guys that is just average
(in the teens) at the world cups he still shows up to (and pretty much
none anymore), races only a little in Italy, and then shows up at
worlds and gets still mangages 4th, etc.

Smells like the stay away and prepare for the big race routine you
read so much about these days from the admitted dopers. If he was
really that good wouldn't he be out on the scene making money? I
doubt he is that rich.

Then there is _all_ the rumors, winks, and nods from inside the cross
scene about that guy, but probably best not to go there as its all
conjecture unless you have a picture of the needle hanging out of his
leg. Plus, I only hear it second hand.

Bottom line, I guess his appearance will be good for the series, so we
can leave it at that.

dirtiest cycling sports at this time.
