  4. In the old days before radio & TV this may have been a tactical ploy,
    but these days it would just have been for fun. All the team directers
    would have known what was going on.

    Having read a similar story this week, I was tempted to do something
    similar when I realised my breakaway was going to fail this morning.
    I'm glad I didn't, story to come...
