  1. I have not been able to view either the Mavic homepage
    http://www.mavic.com/
    (just yellow background)

    or 3T's English webpage
    http://www.3ttt.com/ing/default.htm
(I can get 3T's initial screen)

    recently.

Both seem to be Javascripted. I have tried it on several computers using both Sun's and Microsofts Java engines. Tried deactivating firewall, etc. to no avail.

Just wondering if others were experiencing the same thing.

    They both work fine here.

Davornee, out of curiousity are you using an IE or Mozilla (Netscape) based browser. I found that I can only get them to work with the latter now.

    I am using IE.

  5. Just accessed both recently, no problem. I'm on a Mac platform, IE 5.1, Verizon DSL.

If your connection is broadband, or want to switch from dial-up........here's a nifty site that has ISP reviews for your zipcode, tests to measure your actual down/upload speed (requires java), and other tools.

    dslreports.comtools

  6. I'm pretty sure the problem is not you and me. For some reason "www.mavic.com" hasn't been working for a while, so I go in the 'back door' with this:

    http://www.mavic.com/servlet/srt/mavic/road-prod?lg=uk

  7. I'm sure the problem is also with 3ttt

It does seem to be related to a firewall issue afterall. If the systems are booted without the firewall active and then any page from the respective websites (Mavic or 3ttt) below the root are loaded so that they are saved into the cache, the firewall can then be activated and access to any of the pages on the sites can be accessed normall. Wierdness, never had this happen with any other sites and not till this past week. Me thinks that Symantec may have overupdated. Doesn't seem to affect a laptop I hafve hooked up the same LAN thats wunning Win98SE.
    Thanks all.
