  2. Arnica cream, contrast hydrotherapy and gentle fingertip
massage around the periphery. But really Tif ...couldn't you
have chosen a less sensitive area to discuss or are you just
    baiting the trolls now ...lol

  3. I was both "lol-ing" and appreciative of the response as mom
has just this particular issue right now! .The contrast
hydrotherapy hadn't crossed my mind for this and I can add
that asap.. Great timing you too.. I needed a chuckle and
    the info helped too!

    Have a great Thursday!

  5. How is your Mom handling it? What sort of things have been

I suppose but I was referring to body areas that can
sometimes be either erogenous to the client or areas where a
therapist's intentions can be confused by the client without
proper informed consent, pre-treatment. Gluteals, abdomen,
    adductors, upper chest, sacral region.

  7. Well the original injury was a broken pelvis a couple of
decades ago.. so there is some arthritis in there.. but
occasionally she will miss that last step or two .. and
OUCH.. land on her tailbone.. which only makes it worse..
the docs always recommend anti-inflammatories and rest and
ice at first.. (24-48 hours.. little doses at a time)..

I have noticed that elevating her feet and leaning back in a
recliner so that she's not like "stacking" her vertebrae..
    seem to help too.
