I have seen the marin fsr mount vision for £1400 s/h is this a good price? Is it a good bike even?
Is there a bike called a mount vision pro and if so is there a big jump in specs between the two?
Many thanks for your help guys! Tia Nick.

Does 's/h' stand for second hand? 1400 nicker for a second hand Mount Vision sounds steep. Of
course, it's dependent on condition, but you'd expect a shop to be now knocking out a 'new'
end-of-line 2002 model for about that.Quoted message said:

Depends what you want to use it for. It's an XC machine, and there are others that I would consider.

Yes and no. The Mount Vision Pro uses top of the line components such as XTR. The standard version
uses XT and slightly lower components. Is the difference worth 1500 quid? I'd say not. Many thanks for

Many thanks for your help guys! Tia Nick.I'd say the price sounds steep, depending on a few factors, such as condition, and whether it has
had component upgrades.A freing of mine has one, and he had nothing but trouble with the components in the first year -
BB's failing, fork hassles, freewheels failing - stuff like that. Also, it's noisy, as many
monocoque designs are. Once he got the component problems rectified though, he was happy - it is a
good FS XC machine, in and of itself.HTH.

Hey Bomba, thanks for your reply before, very good name btw, do u have the dambusters theme on loop
at home? Your reply got me thinking about this bike and it might be a pro, can you remember any
other differences I should check out? Like it saying "pro" on the frame for instance, maybe I would
have spotted that, you get the idea. Sorry to be a pain, thanks for your time, Nick.bomba said:

Pro was black with a red Manitou Mars Super fork and a Fox Float RL rear shock. Full XTR except Avid
Ti brakes. The '02 standard Mt. Vision was gun metal grey with a black Mars Elite fork, Fox Float R
shock, and full XT apart from Avid 7 brakes. There should be a pretty sticker saying 'Pro' on the
pro frame too.Sorry to be a pain, thanks for your
