  1. Hi all, I'm going to be in Cambridge for a few days about the middle of this
    month.

Seeing all the 60,000 messages about what fun the Extreme Northern Chapter of
URC had at their get-together made me wonder whether there are enough URCers
within reach of Cambridge to make a get-together (and possibly a ride)
    worthwhile.

    I'll bring the chocolate :-)

    Takers?

Possibly could get down that way. Depends upon day if I can and if Vernon &
    Nathan can make it

I will always explain revoked keys, unless the UK government

Sounds like one of those would be an ideal venue for everyone who posts in the
helmet threads to get together and sort it out once and for all over
    akvavit/vodka and fisticuffs.

BTW, Extreme Northern Chapter was partly based on my current position, adjacent
to the top of the South of France.

You mean you could ride down but they would be struggling in your wake? ;-)

    Small flaw in your logic.
The ENC had great fun. Let's meet with some other people instead.

Pah! More like Nathan flying off in front, followed by his Dad and then yours
truly in the place of Lanterne Rouge ;-)

Of course, if Vernon bought me a Trice, I'd be zooming off in front...

    Oxymoron, sorry :-)

Well, the logic is that a bunch of unlikely and disparate individualists with
strong opinions got together and seemed to enjoy themselves, instead of having
the session degenerate entirely into fisticuffs (as I privately predicted :-)
THEREFORE we have a counterexample to the belief that it would be certain
    disaster!

Hmm. British trains are a good reason to stay in Switzerland. Don't you want
    any of this chocolate?
