Sober up. Ronnie Earl is on a political witch hunt and it is TRANSPARENT. He even indited himself as to appear impartial. And to circumvent any problems, the rules have been changed so only indictment on a violent offense will be grounds for removal from chair positions.

Incidentally, i don't care who ronnie is, tommy broke the law by shaking down buisinesses, who were only too happy to ablidge him, albeit illegally, & having the FAA do personal favor's for him. Prosecute to the full extent of the law. I thought i heard a repub say that in the past 🙄

You are an absolute MORON if you spew here and don't know squat on this story. Ronnie Earle is the knucklehead DA of Travis County who is pushing this tripe.

And that bit on the FAA. Legit use of tracking down a MISSING flight. The flight was missing because some Democrats from Texas were shirking thier ELECTED offices by taking flight to New Mexico, preventing a qurom in the TExas Congress. Why? Because they knew they were losing a redistricting fight. They chartered a flight and didn't report where they had gone. Texas Rangers have the legal responsibility to track down missing members of the Texas Legislature and that is what happened. Since they had fled the state, federal recourse was the only action.

As an aside: A Texas grand jury in September indicted three of DeLay's political associates on charges of using a political action committee to illegally collect corporate donations and funnel them to Texas legislative races.

Reading ONE article on it in the Washington Post does NOT make you an expert on this case. You still are a MORON, even more so because you have only ONE reference point, that being the Post article.

The plane WAS missing and the Texas Rangers had every legal right to use federal resources to track it. That Delay used his connections is NOT an abuse of power because the legislators were INTENTIONALLY ABSENT FROM THEIR ELECTED POSTS. And courts deciding redistricting? That would be ILLEGAL under current Texas Constitution.

Trust me on this, I personally know a few current members of the Texas Legislature and this is an extrememly biased event.
