Hey, the Rumsas family stands ready to organize a race in Vilnius.

Davey! We thought you were dead! And you're just in time, too. The
Burnaby Velodrome is putting on a Six Day race:

Sadly, no restaurant or disco is planned.

Interesting, but the one in London was thinking of a Six-Day too.

I was out there. It' a killer track somewhat reminiscent of Gent but
smaller and 7 trips to the Klick.

Anyway, I wan't thinking of returning to the New World anytime in the
near future; the Old World suits me just fine.

Nice is nice. Well, the backcountry is. Had a chance yet to try out the
circuit around the Col de Turini? I never have but it always seemed like a
must-do.

I'm in Antibes, not Nice actually but the weather has not been the
best the last month or so and currently I'm sticking to the local
area, like the Nice, Grasse, Cannes triangle

Life can be difficult at times, eh? :)

Ah well, the other side of Nice is nice too. Café au lait in Vence, pain
au chocolat in Châteauneuf and some wine and sunset in Juan les Pins.
Sounds like a good training round.

I always regret having taken the seaside N-road instead of the Col de
l'Evêque on my way to Antibes (between St Raphaël and Cannes). But hey, it
was the last day of 2 weeks in the mountains and the map showed a myriad
of double chevrons in the hinterland.

The Bord de Mer is a better ride if it isn't too busy; that Massif de
l'Esterel is hotter than hell in summer and a much harder ride I
always think.
