Maintenance Courses

hmmm ... dont you just need a good set of tools, and a good bicycle maintenance manual? However some jobs require some really specialist tools, and its not really worth buying the tools to do the job. Far easier to get the local bike mechanic to do it.

What specific jobs do you wish to perform on your bike?

Check out the park tools web site. They have some very good instructions.

Barnetts manuals are online and available for download if you search around for them on the www.

you can cntact BNSW to see if any operate in bendigo, i did one in centenial park, but i found most bike shops are happy to take you through the basics in a one on one session, but i got most of what i know from the BNSW course and and the park tool site.

Grand Prix Cycles in Caufield conduct courses for bike maintenance. They've got one coming up on i think the 27th of November. Check the web site www.granprixbicycles.com.au I've heard good feedback from some friends that have done them. Hope this helps.
