I believe this info is incorrect, not only is a maillot jaune offered after each stage, the receiver

No one who has seriously or even semi-seriously looked at the estimation thinks this is so. The
estimates of the number of persons who have ever-lived range between about 80 and 100 billion
(though admittedly, this depends on when you start counting).
