I haven't had any for a week, maybe 2 now.

2 non-magpies set up a nest on the floor of the balcony at work. 1 of
the 2 eggs was found smashed, further up the verandah one day, a few
days later, I noticed the other egg had been abandoned for a few
hours, and then the next day I noticed the parent back, but then it
was smashed the day after that.

I was starting to relax too, until this morning when i got whacked a few times in a spot previously clear of the little buggers... some birds just don't know when to call it quits 🙂

The last time I was attacked by a maggie it was going for my ears and the back of my neck.

I go swooped in Eltham (Melb) on Monday. I swerved, trying to maintain eye contact and use my jedi mind trick to scare him off. By the time he swooped me for a second time, I was in the middle of the road and cars were approaching fast!

Someone should tell the maggies. I got severely swooped this arvo, around
about where the bike path on the south side of the Yarra coming out of the
city ends:
