guess he just has to show us that he has the brain of a gorilla. I will

Yeah it's a bit tedious but it's just as easy to add him to your "Block
    Sender" list.
    Case closed.

    Dearest Jim -

I can't stand newbies. People who understand when someone is being
sarcastic and still let it get to them anyways.

[censored] morons. People like you. Come into a forum like this and get
    upset about posters like MagillaGorilla.

I've got news for you newbie: This is not a "fine forum". It's a place
    to have fun.

Goddamm Dumbass. All this stuff, it's just words on the Internet. It
    doesn't mean [censored].

Take care and have a nice day,

    K. Gringioni.

  8. I'm not the best to say this because I like to spar with MasengillaVagina,
but let him rant. Just let him know in your own way when you think he's
crossed the line. The same goes for ClitHoe.

Trust me on this: you would much rather be able to say whatever you want on
this newsgroup than have some moderator edit or delete your posts. Let's
just allow the community of posters to dictate what's acceptable and what's
not, ergo a RBR community standards test.

  9. Perhaps you'll pardon me if I write this letter in a more personal vein than
usual. I want to tell you about some personal perceptions of mine, primarily
because there is a tortured quality to Cadet Magilla Gorilla's reasoning, a
careful avoidance of obvious conclusions, and a painstaking circumnavigation
of embarrassing facts. One of the first facts we should face is that Magilla
has written volumes about how cultural tradition has never contributed a
single thing to the advancement of knowledge or understanding. Don't believe
a word of it, though. The truth is that if I had to choose the most
unscrupulous specimen from his welter of incorrigible gabble, it would have
to be his claim that he is forward-looking, open-minded, and creative.
Common-sense understanding of human nature tells us that that's just one
side of the coin. The other side is that my dream is for tired eyes to open
and see clearly, broken spirits to find new energy, and weary arms to find
the strength to take action. Magilla's bedfellows argue that the best way to
serve one's country is to steal our birthrights. These are the same jaded,
whiney propagandists who turn peaceful gatherings into embarrassing
scandals. This is no coincidence; the objection may still be raised that
it's perfectly safe to drink and drive. At first glance, this sounds almost
believable. Yet the following must be borne in mind: I myself definitely
contend that Magilla's mottos are based on prejudices and preconceived
notions. My views, of course, are not the issue here. The issue is that no
one has a higher opinion of him than I, and I think he's an oppressive,
nit-picky beast. Every time Magilla tries, he gets increasingly successful
in his attempts to propitiate the most beer-guzzling freebooters you'll ever
see for later eventualities. This dangerous trend means not only death for
free thought, but for imagination as well.

His theories command as much respect as the tales in the supermarket
tabloids. Sure, it sounds cynical. Blame that on the worst sorts of
intellectually challenged libertines there are. It's one thing to monopolize
the press, but wanting to make us the helpless puppets of our demographic
labels is decidedly going too far. If Magilla honestly believes that some of
my points are not valid, I would love to get some specific feedback from
him. Some people are responsible and others are not. Magilla falls into the
category of "not". As I understand it, those of us who are still sane, those
of us who still have a firm grip on reality, those of us who still suspect
that his little world is far from reality, have an obligation to do more
than just observe what he is doing from a safe distance. We have an
obligation to focus on the major economic, social, and political forces that
provide the setting for the expression of a laughable agenda. We have an
obligation to fight scurrility and slander. And we have an obligation to
reach out for things with permanence, things beyond wealth and comfort and
pleasure, things that have real meaning.

Magilla has no discernible talents. The only things he has indisputably
mastered are biological functions. Well, I suppose he's good at convincing
people that the rest of us are an inferior group of people, fit only to be
enslaved, beaten, and butchered at the whim of our betters, but I cannot too
often emphasize the simple fact that if Magilla were to infantilize and
corrupt the general public, it would be a grave insult to everyone who
devoted his or her life's work to helping the less fortunate. That's the
current situation, and if you have any doubt about the reality of it, then
you haven't been paying close enough attention to what's been happening in
the world. Most people want to be nice; they want to be polite; they don't
want to give offense. And because of this inherent politeness, they step
aside and let Magilla spawn a society in which those with the most deviant
lifestyle, insolent behavior, or personal failures are given the most by the
government. Lastly, for those who read this letter, I unequivocally hope you
take it to heart and pass this message on to others.

  10. To my many friends, both known and unknown, wherever you may be, I submit
these thoughts for your consideration. Let's get down to business: Mankind
needs to do more to shine a light on Mr. Magilla Gorilla's efforts to
prevent me from sleeping soundly at night. Understand, I am not condemning
mankind for not doing enough; I am merely stating that if Magilla honestly
believes that some of my points are not valid, I would love to get some
specific feedback from him. Just wait until someone gets hurt as a result of
his cajoleries. Then, more people will agree that time cannot change his
behavior. Time merely enlarges the field in which Magilla can, with
ever-increasing intensity and thoroughness, deplete the ozone layer. Our
national media is controlled by scabrous misers. That's why you probably
haven't heard that the first response to this from Magilla's dupes is
perhaps that there is an international Communist conspiracy to sap and
impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. Wrong. Just glance at the facts:
The purpose of this letter is far greater than to prove to you how
disrespectful and unprincipled Magilla has become. The purpose of this
letter is to get you to start thinking for yourself, to start thinking about
how he may be reasonably cunning with words. However, he is completely
aberrant with everything else. With friends like Magilla, who needs enemies?
I mean, we must learn to celebrate our diversity, not because it is the
politically correct thing to do, but because malignant personæ non gratæ
serve as the priests in Magilla's cult of apolaustic quislingism. These
"priests" spend their days basking in Magilla's reflected glory, pausing
only when Magilla instructs them to create new (and reinforce existing)
prejudices and misconceptions. What could be more ophidian? Well, once you
begin to see the light, you'll realize that he is utterly gung-ho about
nihilism because he lacks more pressing soapbox issues.

One could imagine that some good might come from letting Magilla cripple his
enemies politically, economically, socially, morally, and psychologically.
But the only one whose imagination is vivid enough is Magilla. Let's get
reasonable; his allegations make many mainstream vulgarians nervous. To cap
that off, when people say that bigotry and hate are alive and well, they're
right. And Magilla is to blame. Simply put, he just reported that uppity,
counter-productive control freaks should be fêted at wine-and-cheese
fund-raisers. Do you think that that's merely sloppy reporting on Magilla's
part? I don't. I myself think that it's a deliberate attempt to create
problems that our grandchildren will have to live with. The interesting
point is this: Magilla could use a heavy dose of sensitivity training. The
best example of this, culled from many, would have to be the time Magilla
tried to initiate a reign of wishy-washy terror.

His cause is not glorious. It is not wonderful. It is not good. Before the
year is over, Magilla's poison will infect us, sicken us, and destroy us.
Even more remarkable, Magilla talks a lot about fetishism and how wonderful
it is. However, he's never actually defined what it means. How can he argue
for something he's never defined? Although I haven't yet been able to
concoct an acceptable answer to that question, I can suggest a tentative
hypothesis. My hypothesis is that prudence is no vice. Cowardice --
especially his gormless form of it -- is.

I don't like to repeat myself, but in order to work beyond the predatory
plasticity of his half-measures, we must lay out some ideas and
interpretations that hold the potential for insight. And that's just the
first step. Remember, Magilla is locked into his present course of
destruction. He does not have the interest or the will to change his
fundamentally brown-nosing hastily mounted campaigns. He is willing to
promote truth and justice when it's convenient. But when it threatens his
creature comforts, he throws principle to the wind. That fact is simply
inescapable to any thinking man or woman. "Thinking" is the key word in the
previous sentence. I have the strength, ability, desire, and courage to
expand people's understanding of Magilla's solecism-prone contrivances. Do
    you?

I might add: I must ask that Magilla's hangers-on stand up and fight for our
heritage, traditions, and values. I know they'll never do that, so here's an
alternate proposal: They should, at the very least, back off and quit trying
to defend exclusionism, revanchism, and notions of racial superiority. You
may be surprised to learn that I was once like Magilla. I, too, wanted to
stigmatize any and all attempts to fight for what is right. It interfered
with my judgment, my reasoning, and my ability to exercise all of our basic
rights to the maximum. To end on a more positive note: Particularism has
never been successful in the long run.

  11. There are many gutless rabble-rousers who want to parlay personal and
political conspiracy theories into a multimillion-dollar financial empire.
One -- Mr. Magilla Gorilla -- is so disruptive, he deserves special mention.
By way of introduction, let me just say that Magilla might silence critical
debate and squelch creative brainstorming in the immediate years ahead. What
are we to do then? Place blinders over our eyes and hope we don't see the
horrible outcome? The greatest quote I ever heard goes something like this:
"The worst sorts of ridiculous, prudish egotists there are would be far more
bearable if they didn't bombard me with insults." Even if his facts were
reliable, they were gathered selectively and then manipulated towards
favored conclusions. Magilla's "sincerity" is as transparent as the icy,
uncaring look in his eyes. So let Magilla call me homicidal. I call him
    deranged.

He should not block streets and traffic to the extent that ambulances can't
get through. Not now, not ever. It is immature and stupid of Magilla to use
cheap, intemperate propaganda to arouse the passions of unambitious,
prodigal slackers. It would be mature and intelligent, however, to oppose
evil wherever it rears its shiftless, naive head, and that's why I say that
I've catalogued all of his foibles -- and the list is pretty big. I put that
observation into this letter just to let you see that he is unable to remove
his mental shackles. I always catch hell whenever I say something like that,
so let me assure you that he occasionally writes letters accusing me and my
friends of being what I call uneducated heresiarchs. These letters are
typically couched in gutter language (which is doubtless the language in
which he habitually thinks) and serve no purpose other than to convince me
that I have to wonder where he got the idea that it is my view that the only
way to expand one's mind is with drugs -- or maybe even chocolate. This sits
hard with me, because it is simply not true, and I've never written anything
to imply that it is. From secret-handshake societies meeting at "the usual
place" to back-door admissions committees, Magilla's cult followers have
always found a way to cause this country to flounder on the shoals of
self-interest, corruption, and chaos. So far, this letter has merely
identified the ways in which we can't afford to be so rash in such difficult
times. Now, let me shift gears and start telling you about how Magilla
labels anyone he doesn't like as "subhuman". That might well be a better
    description of him.

His musings serve as a stepping stone to world government. And who will
compose that world government? A ruling class consisting of libidinous
    turncoats and ghastly clunks.

I'm sure he seriously believes that all major world powers are controlled by
a covert group of "insiders", seeing how his selective memory works. If that
fact hurts, get over it; it's called reality. And for another dose of
reality, consider that Magilla has been offering randy cretins a lot of
money to separate people from their roots and cut their bonds to their
natural communities. This is blood money, plain and simple. Anyone thinking
of accepting it should realize that if we're to effectively carry out our
responsibilities and make a future for ourselves, we will first have to
combat the headlong ideology of obscurantism that has infected the minds of
so many perfidious misogynists. Magilla's opinion is that he can cashier
anyone who tries to challenge the present and enrich the future and get away
with it. Of course, opinions are like sphincters: we all have them. So let
me tell you my opinion. My opinion is that in a tacit concession of defeat,
Magilla is now openly calling for the abridgment of various freedoms to
accomplish coercively what his pusillanimous vituperations have failed at.
Perhaps Magilla's little schemes are bound to fail, but remember that if he
can one day reduce human beings to the status of domestic animals, then the
long descent into night is sure to follow.

Magilla is trying to deflect attention from his discourteous, grotty prank
phone calls, and if you don't believe me, then you should knock some sense
into Magilla. I can reword my point as follows. When workable solutions to a
problem elude you, sometimes it helps to fight the warped, distorted,
misshapen, unwholesome monstrosity that Magilla's shenanigans have become.
So don't tell me that an irascible spirit is precisely the wrong spirit in
which to discuss the advantages of two-parent families, the essential role
of individual and family responsibility, the need for uniform standards of
civil behavior, and the primacy of the work ethic just because we must steer
clear of simplistic, monocausal explanations and mythic bogeymen. Now that
I've had time to think about Magilla's antics, my only question is this:
Why? Why destroy our sense of safety in the places we ordinarily imagine we
can flee to? I once asked Magilla that question -- I am still waiting for an
answer. In the meantime, let me point out that my cause is to stand up and
fight for our heritage, traditions, and values. I call upon men and women
from all walks of life to support my cause with their life-affirming
eloquence and indomitable spirit of human decency and moral righteousness.
Only then will the whole world realize that the last time I told Magilla's
dupes that I want to deal summarily with malign delinquents, they declared
in response, "But the ideas of 'freedom' and 'misoneism' are Siamese twins."
Of course, they didn't use exactly those words, but that's exactly what they
meant. All right, enough of that. Now let's talk about something else. Let's
talk about how his premise (that he is the one who will lead us to our great
shining future) is his morality disguised as pretended neutrality. Magilla
uses this disguised morality to support his tactics, thereby making his
    argument self-refuting.

Despite his evident lack of grounding in what he's talking about, if the
people generally are relying on false information sown by wayward rascals,
then correcting that situation becomes a priority for the defense of our
nation. Magilla's methods of interpretation are built on lies and they
depend on make-believe for their continuation. Magilla and his vassals pay
little or no attention to the negative impact that cannibalism will have on
our daily lives. Ergo, Magilla will probably respond to this letter just
like he responds to all criticism. He will put me down as "nugatory" or
"untrustworthy". That's his standard answer to everyone who says or writes
anything about him except the most fawning praise.

Did it ever occur to him that he turns his back on those who have been the
most loyal to him? The most appealing theory has to do with the way that he
is out to humiliate, subjugate, and eventually, eliminate everyone who wants
to delegitimize him. And when we play his game, we become accomplices. Now
let's have some fun and examine a few of Magilla's more ridiculous
statements. First, Magilla said that his vices are the only true virtues.
That's rather iconoclastic, isn't it? Later on, he claimed that we should
avoid personal responsibility. What this really means is that he wants to
depressurize the frail vessel of human hopes.

In every country, there are politically incorrect utopians who are every bit
as peevish as he. That's pretty transparent. What's not so transparent is
the answer to the following question: Why can't we all just get along? A
clue might be that if we are powerless to kick butt and take names, it is
because we have allowed Magilla to force his moral code on the rest of us. I
almost forgot: There is a simple answer to the question of what to do about
his half-measures. The difficult part is in implementing the answer. The
answer is that we must follow knowledge like a sinking star beyond the
utmost bound of human thought. Magilla's perceptions will have
consequences -- very serious consequences. And we ought to begin doing
something about that. Worst of all, our children's children would never
forgive us for letting Magilla support international crime while purporting
    to oppose it.

In spite of the fact that the only visible result of Magilla's litanies has
been a series of tactical and strategic policy blunders, he claims to have
turned over a new leaf shortly after getting caught trying to lead an active
disinformation campaign. This claim is an outright lie that is still being
circulated by Magilla's apologists. The truth is that if I withheld my
feelings on this matter, I'd be no less squalid than Magilla. He has gotten
away with so much for so long that he's lost all sense of caution, all sense
of limits. If you think about it, only a man without any sense of limits
could desire to detach individuals from traditional sources of strength and
identity -- family, class, private associations. Perhaps it sounds like
stating the obvious to say that no matter what else we do, our first move
must be to educate everyone about how Magilla's co-conspirators are just as
bad as Magilla is, if not worse. That's the first step: education. Education
alone is not enough, of course. We must also find more constructive contexts
in which to work toward resolving conflicts. People tell me that all of the
anxious sighing, longing, and hoping of his heart is directed to a time when
flagitious, fatuitous administrators can waste taxpayers' money. And the
people who tell me this are correct, of course.

It's easy enough to hate Magilla any day of the week on general principles.
But now I'll tell you about some very specific things that Magilla is up to,
things that ought to make a real Magilla-hater out of you. First off, I want
my life to count. I want to be part of something significant and lasting. I
want to dole out acerbic criticism of Magilla and his phalanx of ophidian
proxies. Ironically, what he is doing is not an innocent, recreational sort
of thing. It is a criminal activity, it is an immoral activity, it is a
socially destructive activity, and it is a profoundly contemptuous activity.
Don't let Magilla delude you into thinking that you and I are inferior to
humorless, slovenly menaces. He's just trying to exercise both subtlety and
thoroughness in managing both the news and the entertainment that gets
presented to us. Some readers may doubt that he is crass enough to
understate the negative impact of revanchism. So let me provide some
evidence. But before I do, let me just say that he yields to the mammalian
desire to assert individuality by attracting attention. Unfortunately, for
Magilla, "attract attention" usually implies "hurt others physically or
emotionally". Still, the issue of what to do about Mr. Magilla Gorilla's
avaricious, ornery utterances is far from settled. The letter you just read
should be seen as a starting point for dialogue on this controversial issue.

Jim: You're new here, aren't you? This isn't the type of place you take
your girlfriend to for a peaceful stroll. It's not a friendly coffee shop
where you discuss the day's events over a latte. Rather, this is a bar in a
not-so-tough neighborhood, frequented by people who pretend it's the
    toughest place in town.

You can, after a while, learn how to bring up topics in a fashion that
doesn't start a wildfire, but most people think it's more fun to play with
gasoline. There is legit content scattered here & there, but it's in a
wild-west sort of way. Take everything you hear with a large grain of salt.
Don't trust, don't bother verifying unless you've got nothing better to do.
After a couple of years, you'll get pretty good at predicting which posts
contain content that's actually relevant to anything, largely by looking at
the manner in which it causes certain people to reply.

You may come to believe that some of the posts are the results of an AI
(artificial intelligence) program, but that's only half-right. Artificial,
    yes. But intelligent?

If nothing else, you'll learn how to use a kill-file to eliminate certain
posters, and in doing so, gain a bit of appreciation for the fact that the
anonymous trolls tend to keep the same name for extended periods of time.
That's not the case in many other groups.

I can't stand newbies. People who understand when someone is being
sarcastic and still let it get to them anyways.

[censored] morons. People like you. Come into a forum like this and get
    upset about posters like MagillaGorilla.

I've got news for you newbie: This is not a "fine forum". It's a place
    to have fun.

    dumbass,

being an [censored] and getting called one is fun. please don't spoil it for us.

You may come to believe that some of the posts are the results of an AI
(artificial intelligence) program, but that's only half-right. Artificial,
    yes. But intelligent?

Has crit-pro passed the Turing test ?

There are many gutless rabble-rousers who want to parlay personal and
political conspiracy theories into a multimillion-dollar financial empire.
One -- Mr. Magilla Gorilla -- is so disruptive, he deserves special mention.
By way of introduction, let me just say that Magilla might silence critical
    debate and squelc

    WHAT?

    Jimmy,

I'm not sure if you're jacking me. But I'm going to go out on a limb
here and say you're a gaylord.

Jim says: "Let's not hope a person like him ruin..."

everyone.. please dont let this sensitive pansy ruin our forum where we can
slam on eachother at will and have a good time... oh, and still discuss some
    bike racing now and again...

That's my boy Saunders keeping it real and checking the [censored] into the

I'm not the best to say this because I like to spar with MasengillaVagina,
but let him rant. Just let him know in your own way when you think he's
crossed the line. The same goes for ClitHoe.

Trust me on this: you would much rather be able to say whatever you want on
this newsgroup than have some moderator edit or delete your posts. Let's
just allow the community of posters to dictate what's acceptable and what's
not, ergo a RBR community standards test.
