Magazine publications…

Avoid US magazines like Bicycling .
German Tour or British Cycling Plus are excellent for critical product reviews.

If you like the Euro pro racing scene and want an English language magazine, I would suggest Cyclesport and Pro Cycling (both UK publications).

One argument for Bicycling Magazine is that you can get it ridiculously cheap on eBay. 2-year subscriptions are going for $3.95, and 4 years for $6.95 (not per year, but total). At that price it can be a second magazine.

Ok Bicycling isn't for raceheads particularly but it has a wider coverage of other things like commuting, rides on(buy being in New Zealand they're not much use to me!) etc🙂 .
I would be very unlikely to buy one though:o

UK race oriented magazines are my favourite. Really good technical articles, interesting ride reports, in touch with Euro pro stuff, interesting and up to date gear tests and humour(which many others lack)🙂
We get them about 3 months behind the UK though - so the Christmas calandar arrives in March! Bugger!

Australian magazine RIDE is excellent too. Good for me in NZ as there is often NZ coverage and interviews too🙂

I quite enjoy Vo2 - It's more triathalon and fitness focused, while being a NZ magazine gives decent coverage of local events.

also look for the Bicycling Australia. Comes out BiMonthly and has a high level of content

True, it is good. Good to have different exercises, eating etc covered as well.
Did you read the interview with Gordy. 'Ol guppy face would've loved that😉
Nice to scan and see how many events are on around the country.
