I was wondering if you all have had a chance to
conduct my survey. I am a college student doing a
research on low-carb beverages.
I have been devoted to the low-carb lifestyle for over
two years now and I really think that low-carb alcohol
is an interesting topic.

If you have any questions please let me know.
Thank you

You initially mention just beverages, then add alcohol. What are you
really looking for?
Oh, I see, you are doing market research for Bacardi, under the auspices
of the Roosevelt University. Are they aware that you are spamming usenet
using their name?
They are now.
Why are you using edu resources for market research on a product like
Bacardi? United Distillers can well afford their own research. Angling
for a job with them?
You are damaging the reputation of Roosevelt University with your spam
and blatant commercialism. Your poorly disguised "student research"
attempt isn't likely to fool many.
BTW, all alcohol is low carb. You don't seem very bright for a graduate
student. Does Roosevelt have low standards?
Most beverages containing alcohol also contain carbs. Pure spirits, gin,
vodka, whiskey etc., are effectively zero carb, wines have carbs, beer,
mixed drinks, and cocktails can have massive amounts of carbohydrate.
Bacardi has nothing to offer that other spirits don't also have. It is
far from being a good rum, just a well promoted rum; in fact if you
start adding things like black cherry to it, it becomes something for
low carb advocates to avoid.
Next question?
Regards
David
