  1. Hi guys,

I stumbled across an ad for a somehat special saddle some time ago, but apparently I didn't manage to save the link - so I'm hoping someone her emight be able to identify it for me.

The overall impression was pretty much like a traditional saddle, but it consisted of an Y-shaped shell with the padding for the sit bones running in two wide stripes over the "wings" of the saddle.

Any pointers on what it might be called are much appreciated.

  2. Nothing special about this one, just the price 🙂.
    I see the Y though.

  6. Hi All, has anybody used this saddle? If so, what do you think of it :-)

  7. I've had the older model (without the padding; you can still get it) for several years. I have two; one on each bike. Had tried Specialized, Selle, Forte. This is the only one that works for me. What is NOT; not very light or suited for competitive riding or if you spend a lot of time on the drops. Takes a while to find the right "spot" to sit on (on the highest part of the Y).
What it is: The structural shell is firm but "gives" and is almost indestructible. Relieves pressure on the perineum without the edge pressure of the "cutout" saddles. Plenty of surface area to sit and you vary the "sitting" location. Great for endurance rides, centuries, touring or if you spend more time on the hoods or more upright position.
