  1. Thursday night I was in the pool and pushing pretty good, got my 1/2 mile done faster than I ever have and was headed for a nice 1 mile swim when at about lap 23 I just bonked. Lost all of my energy and started shaking. Ate a power bar and went and had dinner and felt a bit bettter -- But I canno shake this "drained" feeling.. DO I need to do something specific or just rest a couple of days? I hadn't eaten enough food thursday as work kept me from food. but I have been eating today

    Ideas??

  2. Had a similar pool experience recently. My coach told me to reduce training heart rate back to 70%. Did this, energy returned. I will keep the sprints for once a month.

Try wearing a heart monitor in the pool and set the alarm at 70%.

I now train on the trekking bike, more comfort, less stress, and lower heart rate, 70-80%, no more mad group rides.

  3. I have heard that if you drink orange juice that it will regain your energy.

  4. I'll bet you're even prettier in a dress
