  1. JU has a new sponsor - a swiss sports clothes company X-Technology - it was announced today at a Munich trade fair.

It is confirmed on JU's homepage jan.ullrich.de along with a picture of Ulle in said clothing - a very fetching orange and black number.

  2. He will look good in his new clothes standing along the sideline if he does not get a new team soon.... The budgets have to be full for most teams..
JU got screwed so bad by the powers that be I doubt if he will ever be able to sit down again......

Careful, you will throw the Jan haters into a deep depression.

  4. I'd love to see Ullrich return to cycling. It'll have to happen soon though because he's not getting any younger.

That's true I am the only one that has figured out how to do that.

Dunno about that one. I'm certainly getting more and more juvenile with each post.

Childhood is too precious to be wasted on children. 😄

....and that if's the birth father of Kevin from the Wonder Years and Elián González... DNA can tell us so much these days...

Ullrich seemed more than willing to provide a DNA sample which would seem strange if he knew he was guilty. Regardless of the result, let's just hope this brings the procedures against him to an end. July isn't that far off you know.

Can I buy that (the will power) ? If not I just continue training as these are the great times to do it (thanks to global warming) and in the summer I will shoot some great pics of Ulle !

I would think that JU could race for free and still make bank from endorsements. If he does get a team then what races could he do? He will never race the TdF again. No Pro Conti team with him on it will get an invite; if the UCI has its way the ASO won't have any wildcard invites, even if the ASO wanted to give a team with Ullrich on it one, which they don't. The Tour of Germany won't invite him. The Giro is way too mountainous. The Pro Tour makes is difficult or impossible to get into any of the big events on the calendar.

I thnk the fact of the situation is that if Ullrich cannot prove innocence then his career is effectively over.

He doesn't want an answer unless it is death to Ullrich.

Will this be True\False or Multiple Choice test. 😄

Even if the DNA tests all come back negative and he is cleared, he will be severly damaged goods, as they say, if you throw enough mud it still sticks.

I like Ullrich. I would like to see him race again. But the reality of the current situation is that if he cannot sign with a ProTour team he won't be able to start any of the big races. What races will Relax be at?

My expectation is exactly the opposite. I think that if JU is cleared through DNA testing, there will be a lot of public sympathy toward him, especially given his exclusion from the TdF and being fired by his former employer. I think he will have a more favorable public perception after being cleared than before OP began. It may also give him some degree of shielding from future charges, as any would-be accuser would be wary of being perceived as persecuting an individual whose already demonstrated his innocence.
