I apologize if this was perceived as spam. That certainly was not my
intention. The reason I posted this ( and have posted on other subjcets
here in the past)is because of the wide diversity of posters with an
intense food interest.

The readers here are not our market - the professional Chef is. I read
the group for the content.

Having said this, we are a small company that works directly with the
customer. For that reason, I thought that readers here might be
interested in working with us in their own geographic locations since
based on the posts and content of the group there seemed to be at least
the communality of an intense interest in food.

Again - this was not intended as spam and certainly was not an intended
to sell our products. I am looking for employees and or partners and
believed this would be an unconventional way of going about it.

Thank you for taking the time to respond.

We do food shows, we are involved with the ACF and schools. However as
Chefs who use our products move out of our direct market, we find a need
to service them on a more national level. For example at the moment we
could use someone in the Miami area, Philadelphia, Omaha, Pittsburgh and
Memphis. This eliminates most traditional methods of locating a
candidate. Classifieds have been un-productive.

So my thought is - if somebody is already into food in a big way - this
may be an opportunity for them to get involved professionally in their
local community on either a part-time or a full-time basis.

I still think that is an alternative to big company marketing and more
customer foccused. The hard part is to find the right people.

I'm sorry to hear that Carol, I guess it's past time to wish him a
speedy recovery too.... so I hope he is able to regain strength
quickly and endure as little pain as possible in the mean time.
