You will find that, for your requirements, you DON'T need stainless
spokes.

Nashbar has very high-quality spokes cheap, $7 for a bag of 20
Wheelsmith spokes:

The problem is that if you want to replace only a few spokes on each
bike, you're probably going to need a variety of different lengths.
Spokes are usually sold in lots of 20 given that most people build or
rebuild a whole wheel.
