Yikes. I wouldn't recommend color coordinating ( I think it looks
tacky and pretentious, myself) but I think LSU has purple school
    colors.

Barring that, remember: Black is slimming and goes with everything.
White is cool and does the same.

Luckily my silver, aluminum-frame mountain bike is very versatile. I
can wear ANYTHING and still match.

You should have a show on TV. Dressing the cylist for fun and fashion.
Yes, Black is always in style and very slimming. But I hear that Blue
is the new Black. Everyone was wearing it at the Oscars this year.
    All good things,

Actually, I have a black and red jersey, built to look like the
"uniforms" used on Star Trek: Voyager (yes, I have the badge, too).

Hey, if they're going to name a starship after my bike, the least I can
do is wear an appropriate jersey, right? LOL.

"The Good Ship Enterprise" (to the tune of "The Good Ship Lollipop"😉

    On the good ship Enterprise
Every week there's a new surprise
    Where the Romulans lurk
And the Klingons often go berserk.

    Yes, the good ship Enterprise
    There's excitement anywhere it flies
    Where Tribbles play
And Nurse Chapel never gets her way.

See Captain Kirk standing on the bridge,
Mr. Spock is at his side.
    The weekly menace, ooh-ooh
It gets fried, scattered far and wide.

    It's the good ship Enterprise
    Heading out where danger lies
    And you live in dread
    If you're wearing a shirt that's red.

Also check USC, Boston College, Oklahoma, Stanford, Washington
    State,

Washington State? They're crimson! University of Washington is truly purple
    (and gold).

But I only know because I live in the state -- I didn't attend either.

Maybe blue is "in" because that's all they wore on the movie Troy.

Where is Fabrizio??.....his name was sent into the NG universe and he
    did not appear. Strange.

Regardless of the color shown on the page, any self-respecting
Ohio State jersey will be Scarlet and Gray -- definitely not
    purple.

The race season is going full swing over in Europe, he probably
doesn't have too much energy left to post, with the Tirreno-Adriatico
and Milan-San Remo coming up soon.

I was looking for you to be on Cipo's wheel throughout the Giro della
    Provincia di Lucca.

At this point those darn ol' Canadian bikes look pretty much
    unbeatable in the Paris-Nice.

  12. Chris,
You need one of those classy jerseys from the Husky Cycling Team of the
University of Washington. They are purple and white with gold accents plus they
feature a cool husky dog logo. I think that even Fabrizio would approve. See:

    http://www.huskycycling.net/index.php

You can thank Claire Petersky for the hint about the U of Washington.

    Enjoy.

I just got my Sh. Voyager repainted, and would like to get a jersey
that's at least somewhat color coordinated with it.

Anybody here know of a man's (or "unisex"😉 jersey that's _dark_ purple?
If it has stripes or other highlights of a secondary color that's ok
(red would be great!). As long as the main color is the dark purple.
