  1. I'm sure this has been rehashed many times already but heregoes. I'm in
the market for new pedals. Anything compatible with Carnac Quartz road
shoes. Currently on the original Ultegra SPD and I'm tired of the small
platform. I avoided Speedplay because of the high cleats but they've
improved that alot so they're a possibility. Are they all fairly equal in
terms of platform size, entry/exit ease so it comes down to style? I may
    go back to Looks otherwise.

So you're saying that although you know it's been talked about
already, you want people to spoonfeed you info? In a group for which
    this topic is not appropriate?

    How thoughtful.

Check an archive like at groups.google.com or the appropriate group
    like rec.bicycles.tech.

    Please don't spoon-feed the stalkers.

You forgot to look into the Time pedals. It is a known fact that they are the
    best.

You're right. I should've saved this internet tree for something equally
unrelated like the "what's the best chain degreaser" thread or "wanted
mapei 97 bibs". Thanks for the help anyway.

Best entry, exit, most service parts(like single pedals), most
adjustable-Speedplay Zeros, now in a lower cost chromoly spindle for $155.

piece, etc...we don't sell 'em no more.

    Peter,

Do the cromoly Zero's have real bearings like the X2? Or bushings like
the X3? I always heard such bad things about the X3s...

Glad to see they are coming out with something a little less expensive.
