Long Distance Paths

Mike, you might like to try it in Firefox - the hotspots for the path
links are not in the right place - most (though not all!) seem roughly
1 cm below where they should be and to the R.

Other than that it looks like the start of a very valuable resource.

I would personally support *all* Long Distance Paths, and sites which
describe them. If you personally like mountains, and moors this is no
reason to knock low level paths which may well appeal to others. The
Round my Town paths perform a valid function in getting kids and not very
fit adults actually walking. I could go on ;-)

Which 'hotspots' are you referering to?. Tried several pages on the site using Firefox 0.8 and 1.0
and everything seems fine here.

Which 'hotspots' are you referering to?. Tried several pages on the site
using Firefox 0.8 and 1.0
and everything seems fine here.

Darren refered to the link points on the Interactive Map. Some go futher
than the text but I feel it's still easy to differentiate.

I respect your comments Dave. I'm not knocking anything, low level routes
are fine and I often do them with the wife as she doesn't like long treks or
big climbs. The term 'wheat from the chaff' referred to those websites we
all visit where you can't find what has been promised in the search engine.
Or those that are just attracting you in so you'll perhaps buy something.

Round my town paths are fine too. I'm currently doing loads in West
Yorkshire, particularly off the Leeds Country Way. Like you, I'm a firm
believer that walking is for everybody and infact I have the best laughs
with people I usually meet on the towpaths.

It wasn't that they were extending past the path, they were nowhere near
it (I.e. when over/around the path I wasn;too picking the links up at
all).

However just tried it again and all is where it should be. Peculiar!
