  1. It's chaos after such a wonderful day yesterday.

Undoubtedly the result of cowardly terrorist bombings on London
Underground and buses. Serious casualties, numbers yet unknown. All
    the hallmarks of another Madrid.

    London Underground completely closed.

Population very wary of public transport!!

Looks like Arab terrorism - cities are so vulnerable. Let's hope casualties
    not too high.

Yeah. Mean and small is about all I can think of. Do they honestly
believe that a population that withstood the blitz is going to bow to
    these cowardly attacks?

Plus they aimed the attacks at the general public, not leaders or
    statemen.

Rest assured Canadian hearts and sympathies are dwelling on our British
    friends.

As Prime Minister Tony Blair pointed out, these attacks are barbaric.

    That about sums it up.

The difference between a civilized people versus savages.

And to echo the sentiment that Keith pointed out above, do these savages
really think that civilized people will bow to barbaric acts of savagry?

That's the cold, hard truth. Too bad more people don't have the guts to say
it. These people are sub-human savages.

"Never give in--never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large
or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense.
Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of
    the enemy."

"We shall not fail or falter; we shall not weaken or tire. Neither the
sudden shock of battle nor the long-drawn trials of vigilance and exertion
will wear us down. Give us the tools and we will finish the job."

"We shall defend our island, whatever the cost may be, we shall fight on the
beaches, we shall fight on the landing grounds, we shall fight in the fields
and in the streets, we shall fight in the hills; we shall never surrender."

Winston Churchill was one of you. I'm not worried. You'll be fine.

We were all a little apprehensive this morning but things are getting

What makes you think he stopped? A little bombings aren't going to keep

"Americans extend their deepest sympathies to Prime Minister Tony
Blair and the people of London. These terrorist attacks are an attempt
to shake our resolve and to disrupt our way of life. Just as the
United Kingdom stood with America after the September 11th attacks, we
stand with the British people today and continue to stand firm in
waging the war on terrorism," said House Speaker Dennis Hastert of
    Illinois.

That adequately states my sentiment. May the victims find peace; may
    the perpetrators be exterminated.
