Stage 1 heading for the East Coast ? I suspect they mean Dover, which
is not really the East Coast.

This is great news, now to find some friends who'll let me stay at
their house after riding 200 miles to The Capital.

A French magazine claims it will, but ASO (organisers) have refused to
confirm it.

So no more confirmed than all the previous rumours.

(still got my room booked in London though)

East /Kent/ coast.

I've heard rumours they're planning on finishing the stage in
Canterbury, which would be ever so nice for those of us whose local club
/might/ be in with a chance of being invited to be involved at the
finish. :-)

I reckon a urc 'seminar' near the venue is a better bet once we know
the routes. Of course Youth Hostels will be no use.

Those are Sundays.
AFAICR LeTour doesn't do June and one source said the 7th, so my bets are
there.

that was the 'seminar' idea, although being England it would probably
have to be a tent behind a pub (not in London obviously)

That's great! When the Tour of Britain came here last year we organised
the marshalling of the run into Castle Douglas, and it was a good day
out for everyone involved. The Tour de France would be far better!
