It depends on just what that disability is and how mobile they are. There's
acres of limestone pavement at Hutton Roof (where many years ago I spent
several happy afternoons gathering data for my undergraduate dissertation)
but not all of it would be easily accessed by someone who has to use a
wheelchair, for example. Some advance scouting about might find an area
that would suit though.

Cheers Tony - I'm trying to find more about the nature and severity of the
disability, and what they want from 'limestone pavement'

I seem to have a vague memory of Gait Barrows being limestone pavement and
being easily accessible from the road @ SD478 775 - does that ring any bells
?

Not for me, though I don't have a map to hand and it was a long time ago!

A quick google turned up http://www.limestone-pavements.org.uk/visit.shtml
which might give you more of an idea about what's available if you look at
the pdfs it contains. If you can do a site visit in advance you're probably
going to have a better chance of finding something accessible. I'd
forgotten how much limestone pavement there was dotted about north
Lancashire and Cumbria until I read the web page; Whitbarrow might be
ambitious, but there may be something accessible round Crosby Ravensworth.

Of course, you could always take the old-style option and speak to a real
person instead of asking the virtual world. If you check the contact
section of the web page above there's a telephone number for the limestone
pavement action group, based in Kendal. They might be able to give you more
specific information on what would be both suitable for access and
impressive.

It is, and, it is if my memory serves. Walked through it a couple of
years ago. Seem to remember a fairly flat, wide & smoothish access
track but, of course it doesn't go _through_ the pavements.

Orton Scar need Tebay should be accessable, there is a track just off
the main road that goes through a mass of limestone
