Trangia kit or ex army Swedish Trangia kit, the later is very cheap on ebay, both have no moving parts to go wrong and are pretty much bomb proof

Good though the Trangias are they are not lightweight. Even the Kimm Trangia (28) weighs 330g without any fuel. The standard Trangia 27 (no kettle) weighs 850g again without fuel.
The Windpro is easier to cook on as it's more stable in use, and as the cooker doesn't sit on top of the cannister it's also easier to shield from the wind, which makes it more fuel efficient if you do this.
....may well be entering this thread too late, I sense the draw of the Pocket Rocket may well be too strong for young Wollyperson to resist... but the above is why someone I know recently went for the WindPro. The peace-of-mind from the stability it has in use is worth having. Other pluses are: it is lightweight, it comes with an MSR wind shield and also has its own stuff sac (so its not going to snag on anything in your bag).
