Lightest XC FS bike available?

Not that I could afford one but just curious if anyone knows what make and model is the lightest stock(not custom assembled) FS XC bike one can buy?

I think the Tomac Revolver Ti is the lightest FS frame (with rear shock) right now...but who knows
what the truth is. Manufacturer's claimed weights aren't exactly reliable.
The Intense Spider and Titus Racer-X may be in this category, too.
I don't think the Tomac is available as a complete bike, I don't know about Titus, and Intense
doesn't ship complete rides, so all of these sleds would be "custom assembled."
Go to wrenchscience.com and build something up...it'll give you the weight in grams.

Off of the wrenchscience site, I can get a MTB down to 18.1 pounds, and a road bike down to 13.17.
Think it'll qualify for UCI? 😉

My friends 2001 S-Works M4 FSR XC (med) was 21.5 lbs out of the box. He swapped the crappy bar, stem
and seatpost on it and probably got it a little closer to 21. That frame is now found as the 03
Stumpjumper FSR. I don't know if that is the lightest but it's pretty damn light for a FS bike that
really works (and for that amount of money).

I did a test build of my Titus Loco-Moto there as close as I could get
it. Their weight estimate was 27.2 lbs. It actually weighs 2 lbs more than that. There might be
about 1/2 lb or so of lubes and miscellaneous hardware, but at least for the parts on my bike,
the claimed weights average about 5% low, which isn't too bad I guess. But it all adds up. 27
lbs sounds a lot better than 29.

My kona King Kikapu weighs out a 25, I think it's stock. The new ones have disc brakes which might
up it a bit.

I bought a second hand GT STS XCR1000 which comes in at 24lb including the GT-i drive....not the
lightest but it is afew years old now ;-) Carbon fibre frame and wheels (think it might be
customised ;-), which I guess takes it out on both counts, not stock and not the lightest...but
proud of it nonetheless cheers, Dave.

According to the frame maker Extralite, their f/s frames weigh
4.2-4.3 lbs for the 18 inch size, IIRC. They seem a bit like Amp frames, just a bit stronger,
