  1. I tried doing a search on here to see if anyone has ever posted about this, but I didn't seem to find anything. Last night my GF and I (together almost 3 years) found it weird that there was a reddish tint/haze in my semen. It didn't get me extremely worried cause it really wasn't much at all, but it is still a concern so I did a bit of research and would also post here since that area does take some abuse from our seats. Also... there is no pain or swelling.

There were a few things that I found that range from not being a problem at all, to something small, or something really bad. The one that caught my eye, which could be something our seat can cause, is that I read that sometimes a blood vessel could break, which would cause this reddish tint in semen.

Well... I was wondering if this has ever happened to anyone before in the cycling world?

Of course, if this should occur again, I will be making a doctor's visit.

    Thank You.

  2. It's never happened to me but sounds like you have some blood issues there. I suggest seeing a doctor since there are many things that could cause this.

It's not unheard of. Must have been a good love making session. 🙄 With all the blood at that point in time concentrated there it's a wonder it doesn't happen more frequently. If it's an occasonal thing I wouldn't worry 😕 about it. I doubt that it has anything at all to do with cycling. The one time it happened to me I hadn't been on a bicycle for years. But I do understand your concern. If it continues to happen, I'd take my smiling face 🙂 to the doctor to get it checked out.

Of course it was :p Yeah... I mean it is something that definitely happens as seen from the research that I've been doing. I'll see what comes around the next time, which hopefully is nothing, and then go from there.

    Thank You.

  5. Found this to be a good read for further, more detailed information...
Urology: Blood in Semen and Urine, blood in the semen, blood in semen

It is mentioned in there about cycling and horseback riding as probable causes for this. I just found it weird because I have been riding for about 4 years now and this is the first time that it has happened. But then again... I've also just recently started riding with shorts only and nothing else underneath.

  6. have you changed your riding position recently? or your saddle?

  7. What kind of saddles do you guys use? Abuse in that area??? Come on...

  8. Might have been caused by a ride, but it probably wasn't a bike ride....:p

  9. for what it's worth, I just started cycling about 6 months ago.. with a spin bike at home. I got hooked doing the classes at my local gym. About a week into doing spinning a home I went into the bathroom and peed bright pink! I was totally scared and went to the urgent care nearby, she says she sees this type of thing with men who ride bikes a lot or horses too. I wouldn't sweat it, you just traumatized yourself a little bit. I know another guy who had the same thing. Think it was called prostitis.

  10. I'd tend to agree with the above; if there's no pain, make a regular appointment with your doctor to have things checked out. If it starts hurting, get to the doc as quick as you can, since you'll probably need a referral to a urologist, (or, depending on the location of the pain, a proctologist) which may take another day or two before anything really gets done.

  11. Hello All,

I just wanted to give everyone an update. Also, I really appreciate all that replied in trying to assist with this issue.

I did end up going to the doctor about a week after posting this thread just to make sure everything was ok. The doctor mentioned that usually the most common cause of this happening is when an infection exists. He told me to wait another 2 weeks and if it doesn't go away by then, to come back. Well, it was a relief to see that actually after the doctor's appointment, it never came back, even before the 2 weeks was over.

    Thanks to all again.

  12. Good to hear everything if fine.
I knew aguy who went to the doctor for a similar problem. The doctor ran a few test and when he retured he remarked,"you need to stop masturbating son". "For how long Doc."? "At least until I can finish your exam". 😄

  13. I'd definitely consider taking a less tight grip on things when you've got the bishop out for a stretch.

  14. ... or quit smacking the manhood with a bit of 2x4.

  15. Give the man a break fellas. Pull yourselves into line. You blow in here, a person shows a bit of [censored] and tells a story that tugs on the heartstrings, and all you can do is give him a flogging [censored] disgraceful masturbation jokes.

    What did you expect?

I've never pedaled with a condom on, yet I've never had bloody splurtations.
