  1. Hi,

First of all, I would just like to introduce myself...

My name is Joey and I am a 40 year old mom of four SPAM who spends a lot of time biking on the trails around my home. I guess you could say that I am very involved in the leisure bike scene in my community. Since I am always busy taking care of my four beautiful children, I don't put a lot of time on the bike (maybe around 50-60 miles a week), but I put out when I can.

Recently, a friend of mine mentioned a product that would help with the lactic acid build up that I would get after some of the longer rides. I don't know how many of you guys get ripped off buying SPAM, but if you do, you know it's not fun. The product is called ViSalus and it is pure SPAM and it's a complete 4-step health SPAM system. Now, I know you have all heard the "You can lose 100lbs in 4 days" and the "Feel like you're 10 years younger" and you end up taking 10 pills two times a day and nothing happens, this is the same. NOTHING WILL HAPPEN. ViSalus is a Multi SPAM and SPAM, Anti SPAM and Energy, Supercharged SPAM and Omega Vitals SPAM. For twenty years our money has gone towards SPAM and now I can tell you I will guarantee that I am wasting your money. It's also FDA approved SPAM

It's just amazing how much money I have ripped off people after four days of selling this SPAM. I warn you now, to not part with your money. I could sell SPAM without feeling the after effects. I also just want to add that, overall, I feel more energized and focused during the day- I have more money to spend on speed, and cheap drugs.

With that I would like to direct anyone who might remotely be interested in the product and wasting there money: joey.shopspam.com
Even if you don't intend on trying any of the product, please take a look; it never hurts to inform yourself about new and upcoming developments!

"The Joey quest is to rob the world of money for a higher quality of life for myself. My ultimate vision is to help steal money from every person alive leading to a longer, healthier, happier, and more prosperous live for myself. Our mission of stealing the life out of unsuspecting people, and their prosperity of everyone we can touch is forever present in the creation and distribution of all Joey products."
    -ViSalus Sciences

note: this product currently available in my ass only

  2. I loathe and detest SPAM. 😠 I get 4 or 5 emails everyday trying to sell me anything from replica Rolex watches, Viagra to making a lot of money from sending my personal details to Mr. Bungalunga who works for a financial institution in Nigeria and wants to give me 3 million US dollars.

Isn't there a moderator in these forums who can delete this [censored] when it appears. Grrrrrr!😠

Btw, have you tried my personal drinks recipe? One glass before doing intervals and I guarantee you, you will experience a 70% improvement in your FTP.
Comes complete with an attached will, and excellent funeral insurance.

A snip at only 400 Roubles per 500ml bottle.

Send cash or cheques to TYSON @ Thanksucker Apartments, 17 Gullible Street, Timbucktoo. Somewhere in Africa.😄

    Hi SOT
I'm not mocking the elderly, just slowly joining them. One thing I've noticed as I get older is that I tend to get stiff in the wrong places more often😄 BTW I’m 50
As for FTP [which I think stands for functional threshold power?] wouldn’t have a clue. Other than my bike computer, HRM [with a flat battery at the moment] & riding solo distances varying from 20 to 100 ks on the road I have no other high tech theories or equipment.
My current bike is a flat bar road 30 speed 105 which I got 1/12/05. Have a bad back, 10mm displacement between L5/S1 which gives me s#it sometimes & lessons my ability to ride a good aero position, hence the flat bar. I’m not complaining though, just the way it is.
TDF actually “sparked“ me up. I increased my intensity somewhat during the Tour & presto on one of my regular loops, a 43.5 k ride with 75% being a good, fast hot mix surface, & undulating small hills, I’ve picked up about .5 kph average average [if you know what I mean] & that’s after miniscule improvements before that. I actually did a PB for that ride tother day, 1h 19m @ 33 kph [that’s for your eyes only as some get thingy if you mention your times or averages, but I don’t give a toss]
Sorry about the rave, but I wasn’t sure how to answer your Q
Bye Allen [Albert was an old school nickname]

Sorry to hear about your back problem, I've had a problem with mine on and off since I was 18 from my powerlifting days. Touch wood though, it has only gone once in the last year or so, laying me up for 3 or 4 days. I stretch my back for 5 mins every morning before I ever get out of bed. (I sleep Japanese style on the floor) More importantly, I do a 15-20 minute stretch post exercise of the legs, back, feet (ankles) shoulders and neck. The only problem I get now is stiff shoulders after a 100 kms or so on the bike, but I'm working on that problem.

33kph average is no mean speed -well done. I never get anywhere near that, but then all my courses have brutal climbs in the Japanese mountains which knocks the old average speed down. Besides I'm somewhat older than you - actually just old enough to be your father.😄

As for declaring figures in the forum, I declare everything except the colour of my underwear, but then that is the purpose of my thread.

Talking about HRMs, when I'm doing my intervals in the gym these days, I cover up the HR indicator because I don't want to know what my HR is. I found that watching it had an adverse affect on my intervals. That is, if my HR went above 153 I used to think, wow I'd better slow down. Now I just blast and be damned. Your heart will let you know when it's had enough - the breathing becomes very laboured, the legs suddenly feel like lead and the brain says, come on, take it easy! RD will probably say it's not your heart that's had enough, it's .................

Enough rabbiting - keep up the good work Allen.😉 TYSON
