Liddy hates OReilly

Haven't heard Liddy in a long time, but he's a fun listen and
generally straight up. OReilley is a choad, though. For a couple of
years now, I've been convinced that he's also a Democrat.

Actually, he kind of reminds me of a sports radio choad we have around
here called Paul Finebaum. The general theme of that show seems to be
"stir up the rednecks". And that's pretty much what OReilley does, be
irritating.

It's true and I agree with you - but the original point was the O'Reilly was
incredibly successful - we are not making a moral judgement about that.

All I am saying is that if measure a man's success strictly by the
number of followers he has we are likely to judge very bad men
successful .... I am simply saying (maybe not very well) that just
because someone has high ratings, and a large number of lemmings
doesn't mean he is "damn good at what he does" There are too many
simple mined Fox / right fanatics that watch (and buy into) whatever

I guess I have to take issue here, Bocabrian. I think we all know that this
is a game. It is ratings that count. For instance you might think that Ralph
Nader was the best candidate and Bush the worst for the the benefit of
mankind. In the end the only thing that matters is the nbrs of lemmings that
follow each of them. You can talk about right wing fanatics etc etc but it
is all about how well whoever it is is pushing a message. You can't argue
that O'Reilly isn't "damn good at what he does". His impact is huge.
