What is it about the LeMond geometry that makes it unique? If someone has ridden a LeMond and a
non-LeMond what is the geometry difference? What does it give, what does it take away?

Talking about the '03's here, haven't seen any info' on the '04's.
Slightly longer TT for a given ST size (1/2 cm in a 56). Slightly less steep ST angle (73 VS. 73.5),
slightly longer chainstays (41.5 in a 56, VS.
40.8 - CAAD 7, 41 - Trek Carbon, 39.3 - Lightspeed Ultimate) as opposed to a typical road frame.I'm more stretched out on my Victoire and a bit more behind the pedals then I was on an older Klein
Quantum. Supposed to be more like the Euro Pro racer's of the 70's/80's, that Greg rode back in
those day's.Not huge differences here, but still noticable.

tube 1 degree slacker, you end up moving your saddle further forward by about 1cm, effectively
shortening the top tube that much. If this isn't taken into account, you can end up with a bike that
doesn't fit (that is, a LeMond with a 56cm top tube isn't as "long" as a bike with a 56cm top tube
and a steeper seat tube angle). The LeMond appoach is an advantage if you ride with your saddle further back than possible on a
frame with a steeper seat tube angle, a wash for most people, and a disadvantage if you ride with
your saddle further forward than most.Mark Hickey Habanero Cycles habcycles.comhabcycles.comOpen ↗ Home of the $695 ti frame

The head and seat angles are slightly slacker than other bikes giving a ride that is not "twitchy"
at slow speeds but carves well at ~30mph . Plus the top tube is slightly longer when compared to a
non Lemond bike.Quoted message said:

Gives- comfortable ride, great control, better breathing,
Takes- no good if youve got a real short torso

I thought it was a steeper head angle?
Plus the top
