I recently purchased a power tap pro+ and after a ride with a little rain (not a down pour) the CPU became hard to read -- it appears that not all of the LEDs are working? Any suggestions or should I just send it in for repair?
Thanks
edit: I tried changing the batteries with no luck.

I assume you mean that not all pixels on the LCD display are working. You should call Saris and have your CPU sent for repair.

The op didn't say if the panel was dim or not, if the panel was dim and some of the pixels are too faded to see then it's the battery. Try the battery first because it's a cheap fix. Walmart will allow you to try a new battery to see if the thing works before you buy the bat, if it doesn't work then don't buy the bat and send the computer back; Walmart can even test the current bat...all for free.
EDIT; I didn't catch your edit you just posted at 9:36pm till now, so yes send it back.
Turned out that I bought the CPU & wheel set at wheelbuilders.com. I called them and they said they would send a new one out right away--no questions asked. Good wheels and good service -- I probably will buy next set here too. (I don;t have any relationship with this company but this type of service needs to be recognized)
