I've been mostly MTBing on a '99 Z1 BAM since, well, '99.
It was hanging upside-down in the garage, and one leg drooled oil on the hood of my car. Busted crown. Considering getting the crown replaced, but I'm more likely to leave the bomberhood. Searching for forks online as we speak. Nothing at all against Marzocchi. The fork held up well for quite awhile with remarkably little service.
My new Gravity Pro tires (from my last post) arrive in a couple of days, but I think I'll be road-biking for the immediate future.

Any fork with oil has the potential to leak if the bike is inverted for long periods of time. Safest to devise a hanging system that would hook your stem and saddle, keeping the bike upright, rather then hooking the rims and flipping the bike over.
Mind you, a cracked crown is a totally different story.

I've got a bike that requires that. Hanging upsidedown is more conveneient though, so it's what I do when I can. This fork never leaked a drop over the last many years. This time is isn't an especially slow leak. After I discovered it I tried to tighten the end cap which is how I discovered the cracked crown--pretty obvious to casual inspection though.

My buddy has one on his Big Hit that he uses for xc & dh. He really doesn't like it. We keep screwing around with it trying to dial it in, but I keep telling him. "it's not going to happen... you need a better fork." To which he always replies, "How much was your DC Shiver again?" :-)
It's really harsh and doesn't have that plush feeling marz are typically known for. Fast consecutive hits makes it pack up because of the inferior, one hit wonder dampening cartridges. But many dirt jumpers love it.

The Manitou I was bidding for on Ebay went higher than I was willing to go. There are other forks I'm watching, but I think the most appealing deal right now is the trade in price from Marzocchi for a MX Comp ETA. Gotta see how much more it costs for a Pro ETA though. The only difference I know of is rebound adjustment. Very rarely touch it, but if the Pro is *much* easier to dial in...

Missed that part when I replied the first time. If the hooks are screwed into rafters (so the seat can be higher than the hooks), just hook the stem & back tire. That way you can hang bikes right-side-up or upside-down from the same set of hooks.

Forget about the weight the thing will not do anything half decent except big hits. Trail riding will be harsh and unforgiving. I have made this mistake before please don''t make it yourself.
