  1. If you are OK about it why don't you post what kind of disability is affecting
you and ask if the group members can give you some idea on what kind of exercise
you can do? May be there are exercises you can do that you are not aware of.

I have not got a lot to lose (about 15 lbs) but I am not able to get
exercise as I'm dissabled. I'm doing well with lc so far!

  2. I have ms and it's out of remission at the moment. This is WHY I'm
stupid enough to come back here. Just too much time while waiting to
walk again. I was panicy after weight gain of about 6 lbs and the legs
can't deal with any more weight. First I thought that it was just the
weight but now I'm pretty pushed back with everything. I decided I
needed to just get with the program and work on the weight NOW! I
decided to come to LC and try the LC way which I love so far. I just
'feel' like I'm attacked ALL THE TIME here.

  3. I really do appreciate the answers and these were good ones with much
help to me! I didn't get to a store for a book but hoping to soon. I'm
facing the wheel chair if I go anywhere and this isn't an easy thing.
The last time I went out I was walking. I go in and out of remission.
I think it may be why my answers/questions are maybe not ALWAYS clear.
My health is a big issue with me (HEALTH+ WEIGHT)

Well, this group gets its fair share of posts from people who:

A: Say they're doing "low-carb" or "Atkins" but haven't done any research
and only have a vague idea of what low-carb actually is, from the media or
    from third-hand information.

B: Say they want to do "low-carb", but they want other people to tell them
exactly what to eat and how much. You can find good advice here, but not
your own personal nutritionist. You'll have to do some reading and pick
the plan that's right for you.

C: Are full of excuses. Name an excuse for "cheating" or not exercising,
    and we've seen it.

If you look at this group as having an overall, amalgamous personality, it
can be helpful and giving, but it also expects a lot from you. Sometimes
it goes overboard and gets unnecessarily nasty, but most of the time I
think the harshness mirrors the harshness of reality. If you want to
succeed at losing weight, you have to be tough, and you have to be willing
to work. Personally, I think you are.

  5. Michelle, thank you! I'm not really able to get to a store just yet but
soon🙂 I have a book that is a Good Fats Good Carbs by South Beach Diet.
I'm reading this as I just remembered that I have this book. I like the
book! I wasn't eating enough with ONLY LC and South Beach looks like a
pretty good one to follow. I got this book and than just put it aside
    but now I'm 'into' it.

    Thanks again,
    glo

I guess that I cast a bad first impression here but I'm willing 'to

if you are going to stay, please learn to quote properly:

  7. NEED TO Quote Properly?
I guess you needn't WORRY about me 'staying' .
I can't really figure SOME of you people out. I'll leave VERY QUIETLY.
I WON'T slam the door. I don't need the stress

It's just common courtesy on usenet. You quote whatever part of the
previous posts you're responding to, so people can still follow the
conversation if they A: haven't read the whole thread or B: read a post and
then come back later to read the next one. Most newsreading programs
automatically include the previous text when you hit the "reply" button.
You go to a traditional Japanese household, you take off your shoes. You
go to an asthmatic's house, you don't smoke. You come to usenet, you quote
properly. If any of these things are too "stressful" for you, then by all
means don't go to those places.

  9. You seem very stressed out. Maybe that's why you're so fat.

glo says: I had a good laugh while reading you🙂 BTW I'm about 15 LBS
over my goal , how FAT are you?
(Not sure of the spelling of your name so probably another flaw from me)

  11. PS to Koenig & the others whom I upset,

I don't own a PC so I settle for the web tv which won't allow me the
CORRECT WAY to answer people here . You did give me a very good laugh
but I'M CERTAIN that you meant to be sarcastic.

  12. Well, it is possible to quote on WebTV by cutting and pasting. I think
someone pasted the URL to instructions.

You didn't upset de Koenig, he hopes to upset you, that's how he gets his
kicks. Stick around, all you need is a tough hide and it looks like to have
    one.

simple. did you even bother to read it and find out what we're talking
about when we ask you to quote?
